How we handle your information
We collect only what we need to run this campaign, and we treat it with care.
What we collect
When you use a form on this site, we collect what you type: your name, your email or phone number, and, if you give them, your neighbourhood, a street address (for a lawn sign) and any question or note.
Why we collect it
- To contact you about volunteering.
- To deliver and collect a lawn sign.
- To reply to your messages.
- To share campaign updates related to the 2026 Williams Lake election, if you volunteered or asked us to.
Who sees it
Only Ruth and the campaign team. We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone outside the campaign.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are stored by our website host, Netlify, which may keep data on servers outside Canada, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
We delete volunteer, sign and contact details after the election campaign ends, except where election law requires us to keep records.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time. Email ruth@ruthlloyd.ca.
